Jonathan, it's great to be here with you again. So can you tell me what does the IQ era mean at MWC this year and what is Alianza's take on it?

Jonathan Wagner:

Yeah, I mean, very exciting that that's the theme because I feel like that's what we've been talking about and what we've been living for a long time. For me, I think it defines the fact that we're no longer seeing AI as an experimentation. We're actually seeing it being deployed in many different ways. What's exciting about us and what I like about the intelligent infrastructure part that they're highlighting this year is that's the area that we play and we see a lot of innovation happening around the network, not a lot of innovation happening within the network. And so that's what I'm excited to talk to customers about, talk to partners about this year is really how we can help them close this network monetization gap by bringing this intelligence down into everyday phone calls.

Diana Goovaerts:

Yeah. And speaking of intelligence, I know we may have discussed it before, but what is the intelligent communications fabric and why is Alianza introducing it now?

Jonathan Wagner:

Yeah. So the intelligent communications fabric is an industry category that defines the modern telecommunications framework that takes the infrastructure layer, which has been around for quite a long time and has served us really well. It's battle tested. And then we also know this experiences layer that exists where there's thousands of AI voice companies out there that do things from translations to live in call sentiment analysis and all these things that we've gotten used to, but there's not been a way to really bridge those two and bring those experiences down into the infrastructure or even modernize these big networks to bring that up. And what's missing is this layer of orchestration in between. So we've defined this framework that really applies industry-wide. This is not a product name. We didn't trademark it as a product name. This is really meant to be owned by the industry to really define what this next generation of networks are about.

Diana Goovaerts:

Yeah. So AI is an excellent opportunity, but it's also been a real challenge, especially for operators. So for service providers who are trying to move beyond isolated AI experiments, what practical outcomes does the intelligent communications fabric enable in the short term and also in the long term?

Jonathan Wagner:

Yeah, that's an interesting one. As we talk through, as I've gone around the world, we just talked about how much I've flown recently. I hear the same challenges from operators, right? They're all in on AI. They're also looking at ways that they can increase revenue. They've pulled all the costs out of the network that they possibly can. And what they don't realize or they're starting to realize now is that there's value in the conversations that they carry across their networks and there's value in integrating that with AI infused experiences. So when we think about that in terms of a defined category and a defined framework where there is the plumbing is already taken care of. They don't have to spend all of their development calories on the underlying architecture part of it. They can really focus on the customer experiences.

So what we look at is lower deployment risk. You're talking about faster service launches. They're able to get out to market quicker because not everything is a bespoke integration. What we find is there's this innovation tack sometimes when they start from the very beginning and they have to piece all of these experiences together in fragmented networks that they're not able to spend as much time and deliver as a higher quality product. So the way we look at it as a short term, you've got these pilots that become products and in the long term, their networks actually become platforms.

Diana Goovaerts:

So I know we're headed to Barcelona, you're headed to Barcelona. Where can attendees find Alianza at MWC and what kind of business problems should they be bringing to you to talk about?

Jonathan Wagner:

Yeah, for sure. We're in hall three in an executive meeting room, and really they should come talk to us if their network is modernizing, but the monetization isn't keeping pace.
